Have you ever really watched the tide come in? It's kinda neat. You can actually see it rolling in. I took a little (we had no plans)road trip last week and ended up in South Maitland just at the right time to watch the magic.
It was only a matter of minutes and the sand disappeared.
I can't believe I've never done this before.
You can even go Tidal Bore rafting. That'll be another post.
